BIRDS IN MASINAGUDI - 2015

Further to my article titled ICON 10 -- BIRDS OF UPPER BHAVANI 2015, herewith the list of birds identified in Masinagudi during Big Bird Day 2015 (BBD).  The team led by retired forest officer Charles Corfield and Octavious Bunshaw, included Jamuna Raju, Gokul, Rajesh, Padmanabhan, Jayaprakash and Sivawere. 

This team sighted 92 species against 131 (including sub-species) recorded last year. 

The birds sighted by them as per the compilation sent to me by BBD co-ordinator Jamuna Raju were:
